The 6.5’ Standing Buddha is hand carved from authentic green stone. The Buddha, also known as known as Siddhartha Gautama, is one of India’s most important spiritual icons. The buddha himself represents the practice of enlightenment or “self-realization” which is when an individual achieves a state of total and complete calm. 
 
The standing buddha is gesturing what is known as “Anjali mudra”. When standing, Anjali mudra is used as a posture of composure, of returning to one's heart, whether you are greeting someone or saying goodbye, initiating or completing an action. As you bring your hands together at your center, you are connecting the right and left hemispheres of your brain as one.
